An individual who is both passionate and innovative about engaging with our residents. Your unique skills and ideas will help us to engage with our residents on a personal level and provide programs that reflect their interests and needs. With lots of enthusiasm and a positive mindset, you will seek every opportunity to connect with our residents and make their day.
What do you need to bring?
- Certificate III IN Aged Care/ Individual Support
- Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or equivalent (or working towards)
- A vibrant personality with a resident-focussed mindset
- The ability to create and modify lifestyle plans that reflect the individual
- A willingness to go above and beyond to actively engage our residents
What can you expect to be doing?
- Working as a team to provide social programs that reflect the interests of our residents
- Identifying opportunities to enhance both social and cultural engagement
- Acting as a listening ear for our residents, their families or advocates Connecting with our residents on an individual level such as a sharing your favourite films over a cup of tea
- Maintaining required documentation and reports crucial for a responsive service
