Are you looking to take the leap from Private Practice to In-House? Or are you a motivated In-House lawyer looking for your next career move? We are seeking a skilled legal professional to provide support and advice across a diverse organisation.
This varied and interesting role will include:
- Supporting Senior Legal Counsel on key projects and provides legal input as required.
- Provide sound legal advice and support across a broad range of areas including commercial, industrial, workers compensation and contract law.
- Monitor legislative change and prepare internal briefings.
- Review and draft legal documents, contracts, reports and letters.
- Undertake research and reporting, relating to legal matters.
- Be the organisation’s appointed Privacy Officer.
- Maintaining the organisations Trademark portfolio.
We are seeking a professional with the following:
- Tertiary qualification in law, and admission to the Supreme Court of South Australia.
- Current Practising Certificate with 3+ years PAE in a similar in-house role or law firm.
- Previous experience in drafting and reviewing contracts and leases.
- Previous experience in the area of workers compensation/self-insurance (desirable).
- Ability to research and draft legal reports, briefings and advice.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- High level communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at any one time.
- High level competency in Microsoft Office and sound computer literacy skills.
