Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is passionate about making a real difference in the community. With exceptional relationship building skills, you will thrive in partnering with tenants and community stakeholders daily. You will utilise your creativity to develop activities and programs that are unique and effective.
What do you need to bring?
- Qualifications in Social Sciences or Community service, or relevant experience – Essential
- Certificate IV in Social Housing or equivalent – Desirable
- Previous experience in the development and coordination of capacity building community activities
- Sound knowledge of community development and empowerment principles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across cultural and business backgrounds
What can you expect to be doing?
- Developing and implementing innovative activities and programs using a strengths-based approach
- Contributing to the planning, implementation and evaluation of the community-wide development program
- Engaging and collaborating with service providers and community stakeholders
- Actively monitoring and addressing the needs of tenants, utilising focus groups and feedback mechanisms
- Ensuring programs cater to all community members, including those from diverse backgrounds
