Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an enthusiastic manager with proven experience in leading and managing dynamic child care centres. With a genuine passion for working with young children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, you will ensure both sites provide high-quality care to every child that comes through the doors. With previous leadership experience and the support of your assistant managers, you will guide, support and mentor your team of dedicated staff.
What do you need to bring?
- Diploma or Bachelor qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Accreditation as a Director of a Child Care Centre
- Operational experience in delivering a quality childcare service that supports children’s individual needs
- Proven leadership skills in effective staff development, retention and management
- Demonstrated skills in management and delivery of large budgets and expected financial outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven strengths in negotiation, collaboration, thinking and problem-solving
What can you expect to be doing?
- Ensuring both child care centres are a welcoming place for every child, where their educational and care needs are the biggest priority
- Actively providing leadership, guidance and direction to staff through exceptional customer/child-centred approaches
- Managing the budgets for both sites to achieve performance outcomes
- Seeking opportunities to improve service quality and provide care above and beyond expectations
- Working collaboratively with other service providers, facilitating a holistic service approach and the identification of service gaps
