Who are we looking for?
We are looking for dedicated dust busters to work their magic in our customers’ homes! Every day you will bring your best eye for attention to detail, your biggest smile, warmest heart, and most supportive & open ears. You will actively support our customers to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Your visit could involve making bathrooms sparkle, taking annoying creases out of laundry and prepping basic meals.
What do you need to bring?
- Previous experience in Aged Care will and/or a professional cleaning role will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated understanding of the physical, emotional and social needs of older people living in the community
- An eye for detail, keeping things orderly and tidy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build relationships with customers
- A current Driver’s Licence recognised in South Australia & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
What can you expect to be doing?
- Provide in-home duties in accordance with individual Care Plans to assist older people to remain living at home and optimising their independence
- Support our customers to stay connected to the people and activities that matter to them
- Providing domestic services to customers in their own home as scheduled an in accordance with their care plan
- Maintaining good communication with colleagues in regards to customer’s health, well-being and services in place
- Promote the rights of your customers at all times
- Enhance the self-esteem and independence of your customers
