Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who will oversee the growth and operations of our Volunteer Services, where we currently have the support of over 700 generous volunteers across South Australia. In this excitingly unique role, you will match the skill-sets of our amazing volunteers with needs across the organisation, as well as strengthen our volunteer base in areas that need it most.
The successful applicant will drive the recruitment of volunteers and liaise with relevant managers and coordinators to connect their skills and needs. As part of the People & Culture team, this is your opportunity to make a real difference in the community and ensure our volunteers continue to act as an integral part of the success at AnglicareSA.
What do you need to bring?
- Previous experience with best recruitment and selection practices of employees or volunteers
- Proven ability to build partnerships with managers and teams
- Experience in managing talent pools, and candidate relationships
- Exceptional planning and time management skills
- Experience with volunteer programs is desirable
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
What can you expect to be doing?
- Be the primary contact for our volunteers and volunteer programs
- Coordinate effective recruitment and retention of volunteers
- Pair the skillsets of our volunteers to relevant programs across the organisation
- Work closely with managers and coordinators to identify new volunteering opportunities across the organisation
- Identify, create and promote opportunities to maximise volunteer participation and engagement within the organisation
- Contribute to promoting and growing our volunteer functions
