Who are we looking for?
A leader who will support management and staff alike, by delivering a professional Housing Assets & Maintenance Service to the entire Housing portfolio and our diverse range of tenants. Ensuring that proactive, responsive and cyclical maintenance services are delivered in an efficient and effective manner within applicable legislative regulations, guidelines and quality standards while ensuring sub-contractors are managed professionally and within contract expectations.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Lead a professional and high level maintenance service desk team and support the delivery of professional administration services to Housing Assets & Maintenance, customers, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver professional and high level reporting, compliance and governance services.
- Proactively lead the improvement and effectiveness of systems being managed and development of new systems and processes.
What do you need to bring?
- Proven experience in similar housing maintenance leadership roles with an emphasis on troubleshooting, directing and escalating tenants property issues, dealing with various trade contractors and accounts payable, and reporting.
- Experience leading staff, including performance reviews, addressing performance, coaching and development.
- Proven experience in the provision of a variety of administrative services including correspondence, reports, maintaining records and knowledge of financial systems.
- Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
- Exceptional customer service skills, positive attitude, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
