- Full-time or part-time (up to 60 hours per fortnight), Fixed-term contract until 30 June 2024
- Based at our Head Office in Hindmarsh
- Lead a group of highly skilled practitioners working with separated families
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a leader that strives to improve the lives of children of separated parents. As the coordinator of our Kids Are First program, you will understand the family law system, be innovative in how we can reduce conflict in separated parents and assist separated children to make sense of the life events that may have occurred to them. You will have extensive experience in leading teams, have a strong focus on quality practice and have skills to support staff members to achieve excellence.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Supervise the development, delivery and evaluation of individual and group services for separated families experiencing high conflict
- Guide, support and mentor a highly qualified and professional team of administrators, children's workers, educators and mediators
- Coordinating the development, delivery and evaluation of individual and group services for separated families in high conflict
- Facilitating groups and providing mediation
What do you need to bring?
- Tertiary qualification/s in either Social Work, Social Sciences, Psychology or equivalent
- Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution will be highly regarded
- Experience working with families who have experienced domestic violence and high conflict
- Strong enthusiasm to improve the welfare of children
- Leadership and high level interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with your team and clients
