Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a passionate Enrolled Nurse with experience in Aged Care to deliver exceptional resident care. You will assess, plan and implement care for residents according to nursing practices and standards, as well as mentor care staff to assist them in providing the highest quality of care at all times.
In this rewarding role, you will work in a team environment and be responsible for ensuring the care needs of our residents enhances & promotes their quality of life. You will act as an advocate for residents and build effective relationships with them, their families and your team.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Deliver the highest quality of clinical care to residents at all times
- Lead by example by mentoring and guiding care staff, assisting them in providing a high level of service to customers
- Provide assistance with daily living activities to achieve an optimal level of independence amongst our residents
- Ensure the care needs of our residents enhances and promotes their quality of life
- Monitor the care provided to our residents and maintain communication with staff around their health status
- Act as a point of escalation for issues
- Contribute to operational decisions and encourage continuous improvement initiatives
What do you need to bring?
- Diploma of Nursing
- Previous experience in an Aged Care environment
- Current registration and practising certificate with AHPRA
- First Aid Certificate
- Leadership qualities and outstanding communication skills
- Ability to keep calm in high-pressure situations
- Strong attention to detail
- Availability to work a range of afternoon shifts
